Our Story

When we founded Spencer & Lynn in March of 2020, our dream was to open a wine shop where we wanted to shop. We believe that wine should tell a story—about the place it comes from, the people who made it, and the values that shaped it. Our focus is on producers who are incredibly passionate about what they are creating – whether they are brewers, distillers or winemakers. We take it one step further and work mostly with producers that are proponents of organic / natural production.

When you walk into our stores you might not recognize many of the brands. Most of the producers represented in our stores are small (beyond small for some). They do not produce much wine because they only produce what they grow and make themselves. We're a destination for people who appreciate the stories behind what they drink, focusing on Farmer Forward wines that highlight unique grapes, honest farming, and regions worth discovering.

We love to spread the education of wine! We host a variety of classes for you to come taste and learn with us, as well as offering a wine club for you to enjoy at home.
